Help me out here!

Don't be that bad training partner!

I'm sure most of us have been there.

Just when you need them the most, your spotter is distracted by something else going on. Pick your training partner wisely and make sure they are as focused on the workout as you are.

I have also experienced partnered workouts at the other end of the ladder. The person that jumps in at the first sign of difficulty. Or as I like to call them 'the gain stealer'. Just because you see a bead of sweat, or my rep slows down slightly doesn't give you the right to take my gains away!

So! Be a good training partner. Pay attention to what I'm doing because you are there to help me take my training to the next level. To give me the confidence and motivation to do a little more.

If you see me about to hit muscle failure, if you see the bar coming back the other way then help me out, get ready to take the weight if I fail. Give me a little push of

Momentum to allow me to finish, but this is still my rep. Don't steal my bench press and use it as an extra rack pull.

I WILL RETURN THE FAVOUR
